Othello Community Museum is a volunteer led and run non-profit organization. We are always eager to welcome new community members as part of our volunteer team. You don’t have to become a board member to help out — although that option is always available.* Time commitments are very flexible.

If you have an interest in history or enjoy volunteering in the community, join us! Community members from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Areas of opportunity for volunteer work with us:

• Design and create our Hispanic Heritage and History exhibit highlighting the influence of the hispanic cultures who came with the opening of the Columbia Basin Irrigation Project.
• Be on call for heavy work when needed (lifting and moving items)
• Help organize special events
• Label the bird exhibit
• Keep the museum open a few hours on Wednesdays or Thursdays
